The Irrelevancy Chronicles is a web-comic I started almost 2 years ago but gave up after about two or three months, but after I’ve honed my drawing skills a bit more I’ve decided to bring it back because I have been feeling very creative recently and think I have some decent ideas I can share through the comic.

For those who do not know what a web-comic is here’s good old Wikipedia’s definition of it: Web-comic

and here are some outstanding examples of web-comics:

For everyone with a sense of humour there’s Buttersafe, it’s an extremely daft comic that has loads of original and funny comics

Then for video game lovers there’s the legendary Penny Arcade, in which in all fairness maybe you don’t really need to know that much about games to enjoy, it’s incredibly smart, very self aware and always hilarious.

Then there’s VG Cats another slightly sillier gaming web-comic, again some comics you don’t really have to know much about games to enjoy them but it helps.

And finally, the gem that is Cat And Girl, this is your everyday web-comic that is very much like the traditional sort of comics you find daily in newspapers, it’s dry, original, intellectually brilliant and most importantly hilarious, just shows that not just pop culture loving slackers make web-comics.

All four are brilliant examples and I read them all the time, they inspired me to make this web-comic, and although I know it’ll never be as popular as the examples I’ve just given, I love making it which counts and I hope people will like it!

I’m hosting it on a web-comic website called Smack Jeeves where I originally posted it but will link new additions to the comic on the actual blog and write about the web-comic as well on the blog because then hopefully I’ll get more readers :P I plan on updating it every Thursday and/or Friday along with any other time I can but I may get a bit Scott Ramsoomair on your asses and may not update for a while but will let you know.

Anyway hope you enjoy The Irrelevancy Chronicles
